Trane heater LED diagnostic code indicates to replace the control. How dependable is this information? - trane lights xr90

The light will remain "stable". The interior panel, said it means "substitute checks." The fan does not go off, so that, if the heating is turned on, it will make irreversible right lighting. The fan does not work in the "on" position.

I do not want to spend a hundred dollars to replace, then you have no problem. I want to know the reliability of the LED.

If you have a volt / ohm to the first, with the power to check what are their limits / safety switch for continuity. Some new adjustable. During the test, the control is a problem and needs to be replaced. A late race bath / security control only the fan runs constantly.
